We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic individual to join our photography studio as an Intern Studio Assistant. As an Intern Studio Assistant, you will provide valuable support in various aspects of studio operations, including client management, studio preparation, and marketing projects. Responsibilities:

Confirm appointments and manage the studio calendar to ensure accurate scheduling of photography sessions.

Assist clients with inquiries, provide information about our services, and address any questions or concerns they may have.

Prepare the studio before each photography session, ensuring it is clean, organized, and ready for clients.

Set up and arrange photography equipment, props, and backdrops according to the requirements of each session.

Assist photographers during photoshoots, ensuring that all necessary equipment is readily available and functioning properly.

Collaborate with the marketing team to support various projects, including social media management, content creation, and promotional activities.

Conduct research on industry trends, competitor analysis, and client demographics to contribute fresh ideas to marketing initiatives.

Help maintain the studio's online presence, including updating the website, blog, and social media platforms.

Assist in creating marketing materials such as brochures, flyers, and digital assets.

Provide general administrative support, such as organizing paperwork, maintaining client databases, and managing studio supplies.
Requirements:

Passion for photography and a strong interest in the field.

Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree or diploma program in photography, marketing, communications, or a related field is preferred.

Excellent communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanor when interacting with clients.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate scheduling and studio preparation.

Basic knowledge of photography equipment and techniques is desirable but not required.

Familiarity with social media platforms, content creation, and digital marketing is a plus.

Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to multitask effectively and work independently.

Proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop, and social media management tools is a plus.

Reliable transportation to the studio is required.
Duration and Compensation:
This is an internship position that offers valuable hands-on experience, mentorship, and networking opportunities within the photography industry. The duration of the internship is 3 months, with a flexible schedule to accommodate academic commitments. Interns will receive credit for their contributions and may request a letter of recommendation upon successful completion of the internship.

This instruction will cover a range of areas, including color and grayscale manipulation, image conversion, presentation techniques, and ethical considerations.
Another focal point of the internship is skill development in photographic principles, particularly in the realm of portrait lighting, posing techniques, and establishing rapport with subjects. Through hands-on experience, students will enhance their competencies in photography and have the opportunity to evaluate their own progress in a culminating experience.
Moreover, this internship provides students with the opportunity to associate themselves with a professional photographic organization, engage in portfolio development, and gain insights into professional self-presentation.
Overall, the internship offers a comprehensive learning experience encompassing various facets of business, management, and leadership functions. It also covers organizational considerations and decision-making processes. This position is designed to complement courses such as Business 1301 or Business Principles, Introduction to Digital Photography, and Photography Course for portfolio development and an introduction to portraiture.

$350 monthly stipend during internship training.
Upon successfully completing internship, may convert as associate photographer with pay potential of $35 her hour.
